Happy Cinco!
Final project is 1/2 way complete. I got my articles and videos complied with a virtual and hard copy. Yay-go me
I meet with my supervisor in 30 minutes and we are going to get the online classroom hopefully up and running for the summer class.
I now have to make a poster for emerging adulthood. I have most of the information I just want to make a hard copy to show my class on Monday what it is and how to make a "Mock" lesson plan. I really need to get on the ball-
I went to Eisenhower yesterday and it was great to finally get respect from the middle schoolers. I am happy that it went smoothly and look forward to the last two weeks.
I feel overwhelmed. I need to finish my portfolio and then we can say FINITO!

Dead Week
I got a bit ran over on Friday and decided to take a sick day and head over to the doctor-I have severe allergies and asthma. Therefore they gave me a crap ton of meds and I accidently took too many Sunday Night which lead me to be sick Monday morning. Blah-
Now that it is Tuesday I feel ten times better and I am on a roll. Hopefully on Thursday I will have my final evaluation and turn in all of my projects. YAY!
This semester has been awesome! I recommend that everyone that is in the Family Stuidies department or if you ever have an opportunity to have an internship PLEASEEE Please take it. I have learned so much within the past year from both of my internships (Near and Far) that there are so many life skills that are not conducted in the classroom and you need that experience to get you through that next step.
Now I have the BEST supervisor ever and you all should be jealous. He deserves so much credit to where I am today and I am so thankful for having this great opportunity. It is going to be difficult to leave and honestly very bittersweet(so corny). If I had it my way I wouldn't have to leave but it will be time to move forward in my new direction.
Happy Tuesday! I wish everyone luck for the next couple of weeks! Graduation!!!! :)

2.5 weeks
Yay.
I have been working on my final projects for my internship and most of it will be finished by Friday of this week. I have compiled multiple KSOL videos, found new information for the human sexuality class and my mock lesson plan will be in the works as well.
I have a lot going on and many due dates.
I am very pumped to present my final internship project to the class on MONDAY! I have so much information that I am afraid that 15 min won't be enough time...Strategic planning ahead.
It's Wednesday! Weekend is almost here : )

Thoughts/Emerging Adulthood Lesson Plan
This week had a major turnaround and I am very happy with the outcome. I get to hang out with my family this weekend and my Bestie (Titi) will be celebrating Easter with us. :)
This week I have been trying to complete my project that I was assigned at the beginning of the semester and adding interesting insight on it. I am being stubborn because I am waiting until the last week to put it completely together. I feel like I will have more information to put in it so I am going to wait...but it's almost finished.
I am also looking to finish my portfolio and final project that is due too. I have been trying to balance my time. Working on these at night and the internship during my regular hours it can get pretty intense. Sometimes I feel like people don't understand the amount of work that this last semester has given me. It seriously is like a full time job and I don't have the option of skipping. Ha! I am a big kid now, and I work hard at what I do. Although Confucius says, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life. So I am enjoying my internship and workload thank you very much!
I have gotten myself into yet ANOTHER project! I want to do some research on Emerging Adulthood and make a mock lesson plan for my final internship project.
This past week I have been getting my thoughts together in trying to find the perfect ending to my internship. I have been interested in this topic for awhile and have found that I experience emerging adulthood in everyday life, either it being with my peers or even just myself.
My time is running out and it makes me sad. I wish this could be a paid full time job, because I have learned so much about people, that it amazes me. It has helped me grow as a person and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I will miss it when this comes to the end but I will be moving on to bigger and greater things.
I will update you more on my lesson plan/research here within a couple days.
Have a blessed weekend and be safe if you are traveling,
Jessi

Moment for Life
Wow THANK GOD that today is running a tad more smoothly then the past couple of days. Holy Moly. I told myself that I was treating today as Monday so I could look forward to a positive weekend. I just started on the wrong foot on Monday and now I am just hopeful of ending the weekend on a lighter note.
I have been thinking about a lot of things especially because of my circumstances. I do not like asking for help, I feel weak when I ask. If I do ask and I don't get a response or am given a response that doesn't make me feel that great it only discourages me. I would like to thank MY MOTHER for putting up with my shit for the past week. I have been a basket case and then some. She has been helping me with my transportation and helped pay for my starter(car). Now I would also like to thank my friend TIM and Azia for helping the other night. It means a lot when people help especially when they do it out of kindness.
Now, I am frustrated with the others who failed to respond to me, or even just gave me an excuse that just wasn't cutting it. I will take it as it is, but I'm going to start putting my foot down. That is my weakness and it gets the best of me. I am TOO nice of a person. I had a friend tell me the other day that I put others lives before mine. Yes, I do. I do because I get satisfaction out of helping people out, but at the same time I get frustrated with my fairweather "friends".
So maybe this a rant blog, but it is what it is.
I am thankful for what I have, and who I can share it with. My mom sent me a email today that someone had sent her and it put me at ease. I am going to share for those who need it:
life: This is God.
Today, I will be handling ALL of your problems for you. I do NOT need your
help. So, have a nice day....
I love you.
P.S. and remember....
If life happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, do NOT
attempt to resolve it yourself: Kindly put it in the SFGTD (something for
God to do) box. I will get to it in MY TIME. All situations will be
resolved, but in My time, not yours.
Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by worrying
about it. Instead,, focus on all the wonderful things that are present in
you life now.
Now, you have a nice day.
God
-----
I take it day by day and look up above for strength.
My "Moment for Life" as of now is being appreciative and to never take ANYTHING for granted. <3

New Post
Other than that I have been focusing on my final project and teaching the middle school kids about bullying. They can be a handful but at the end of the day I can deal with them. They are starting to respect me and I am trying my hardest to have as much patience as possible. I could never be a middle school teacher. Although this is a great experience I give a lot of credit to those teachers.
I have become obsessed with the aerobics class at Max Fitness, Zumba. It is so upbeat and there are tons of people that take it so it makes it extra fun.
I decided to go to Friends, I did mention that but now I am looking at apartments and other types of things to do while there.
Just lots going on and I feel overwhelmed.
Lets start the countdown 3 more weeks!

This week
I have a few new projects to start on and I have been brainstorming some things to do with the middle school classes. Tomorrow I will be teaching the bullying segment and the counselor gave me some ideas to use for the group lesson so I am currently looking for some new things to bring into the classroom.
I am also looking for some ideas for the caregiving classes. I want to present something on healthy relationships so I will be looking for some information to relate to that age group. It could get difficult just because I am so used to talking to college aged students that I will have to make the presentation PG.
I have a meeting today with my supervisor to talk about the past week and what I have been doing with my time. The online material is almost complete and I have been working hard on trying to label them so when the students go into their online course they will not be confused. I am confused myself on some of it so I will have to talk to him about that.
I will be setting meetings up with the human sexuality teacher from the other middle school and will be sitting in on a few classes this week.
Keeping busy is my goal and so far it's working-

Updates
I am happy to say that it is the weekend-I am ready for my nap at around 2:30 : ). I have been busy this week with many appointments with local schools and agencies. I have learned quite a bit about my community and it is helping me relate my degree with what other professional are doing with theirs.
I met up with the health teacher, social worker, school counselor and the home economic teacher at a local middle school. The health teacher was very informative on the amount of information that she presented to her class. She teaches comprehensive material while adding the influence of abstinence into her curriculum. I believe that this is necessary because due to the law children are not allowed to participate in sex and it is "illegal" until they are 16. I also think that it is important to instill abstinence while giving them options for various life choices. She also stressed to me that her passion was to encourage confidence in her students and to teach them dynamics on healthy relationships. I will be observing the class later next week and will take some notes on her teaching styles. I was very impressed to say the least and it gave me more of insight of how the public schools go about teaching human sexuality.
The counselor is a phenomenal lady at this school and she truly has been one of my favorites since I have known her. She has given me the opportunity to help lead weekly discussions on their anti-bullying segment with their students at the middle school. I get weekly topics to discuss with them and I get to freely choose how I would like to deliver the message. I am just so thankful to be a part of this because it is what I want to do in the future! Being able to get out there and teach a variety of people and students is truly a blessing and it is my future in the making.
The social worker has given me advice on the field of counseling/therapy. She gave me information that I will forever keep with me in mind when I am getting my education in Marriage and Family Therapy. I learned quite a bit when we met and she has dealt with many situations and issues that everyone is facing today. It was great to see the different kinds of work that she has to do in the local school and it is an inspiration!
The home economic teacher gives a class on caregiving and she had asked me to put a panel together for teen pregnancy. This can be a challenge because I have to research some individuals and ask if they are comfortable with sharing their experience when having to take care of baby while at a young age. She also asked me to maybe teach a segment of healthy relationships to her class as well. I told her that I would have to sit in and observe to see how the class is arranged but it is such a great opportunity to be a part of!
I finally decided on the school that I will be attending. It was difficult to ponder but with the past week, with the individuals that I surround myself with I have decided to leave my hometown and to venture to Friends University. It was a long process with 2 school visists, transcripts, a 14 page essay, 5 rec letters and the final interview for me to KNOW that this is where I BELONG.
So thats everything updated. Now I am impatiently waiting for graduation and the end of summer to start my new life. ; )

: )
I am truly blessed to have such a wonderful support system. First I want to thank my family, friends, teachers, mentors and most importantly the man upstairs. I am at a point in my life where I can stand back and say that I am truly happy and have learned so much from my "college" experience.
I have so many goals to accomplish but it doesn't worry me because I am doing it for me. I have been through some obstacles along the way but as time goes on I have gotten through it. I am so excited for this new upcoming journey that it will only make me a better person.
I have a few things to think about within the next couple of weeks because I will have to make a decision on what school to attend. I heard back from one yesterday and will hear back from the others around next week. I have a good feeling about where I want to go but on the other hand I am worried that I might make the wrong choice. I will figure it out by the deadline and it will all work out.
The internship is going so well! I love what I do and I wouldn't have it any other way! I am meeting with EMS today to learn the ropes on how to teach the students about bullying. It will give me some classroom exposure and it will help me broaden my feel for teaching.
I have a meeting with the human sexuality teacher this Friday and will go over some of the curriculum for their class and get an idea on the the community.
Have a great week/happy humpday

Update
I have been so busy that I haven't had time to update everyone with what I have been doing!
Last week was super busy and it is starting to catch up with me...I feel like I am getting sick and have been really tired.
I did go to many events such as
Tech Fair
Wolf in Sheeps Clothing
SHAPE Meeting
EMS with the social worker and the school counselor
Safe Zone training
"Can I Kiss you?"
Had my interview with Friends University
Met with KSU extension
AND had my final paper and final test last night...
WOAH!
I am happy and proud to say that I have gained so much insight on all of these things and I can take it with me for the future.
I also made more contacts by talking with these people that I will be involved with much more areas to come. This is exciting!
I will be helping EMS with their bullying campaign and will actually get to "teach" some of the material(YES!)
The goal for next week is to have my project that I was assigned completely finished.
Then it is spring break!
After spring break I will be busy because I am going to make a ton of contacts with different agencies and compile a final folder of everything that I have touched on.
Have a great weekend!

Dating a sociopath-What are the signs?
I am happy to say that today is Thursday! I have been busy booking appointments with local agencies, going to different presentations and still trying to keep focused on my Women Against Violence class. WOWZA.
The presentation that I went to yesterday made a lot of sense and opened my mind to alot of different issues that are present in society today. As you noticed in my title of the blog it has to do with sociopaths. I was in for a treat when I got to listen to Mary Todd speak on the dangers of dating and what to watch out for. She touched on many issues such as abusive relationships, rape among women, date rape and my favorite topic of the presentation was looking out for the sociopath. I have seen these types of people in my college career and know that they do exist.
I do not want to copyright what she has to say about the sociopath so I will re-direct you to her blog so you can read the signs-I was seriously scared after listening to what she had to say because alot of the signs seem to be normal in my opinion. Getting compliments sholdn't be an issue but it depends on the other actions that they may be showing-Check it out-there is some great info and if you want to learn more you should hit up the Womens Center! Great resources : )

My thoughts about politics/people
I have been taking a lot of different issues and looking at people's perspectives and views on things lately and I feel like I have been empathetic towards their views almost to the point where it makes me indifferent. Yes, I have my own views and will stand up for what I believe in but as I grow older I find it easier to be more accepting of others and to see both sides of the issue.
I do not agree with close minded people, only because I think it can create conflict. I think that others should be able to listen to others point of view and to see it through a different perspective.
I have been posting many news articles on Planned Parenthood just because I feel very strongly about protecting womens rights to health care. I have stirred up peoples thought processes because some people have been questioning my views. One of the messages that I have received came from a person that is strictly conservative and doesn't have much room to change their view, "I see your politics veering sharply to the left and it distresses me."
First, I can agree with that statement. I'm all about change and making things better. I can thank my education for that because if it weren't for everything that I have learned especially in college I would have been very closed minded.
There's something to ponder-maybe someone will message me about veering sharply to the left...who knows. : )-I'm getting people to think so maybe that's a positive? IDK.
This week has been great. I went to the technology fair and learned some neat things about facebook and IPAD. It made me want to buy an IPAD-They seem common and I feel left out. Maybe for graduate school I can get one...
Today I am going to a presentation for unhealthy relationships. It will be interesting because I am curious to see the warning signs and what to avoid when pursuing a relationship. I will be able to keep this in my thought process when I do go into marriage and family therapy or family life education.
I hope you all have a nice day-the sun is out so that is a positive-

Today
I have been looking for different ways to add more to the online course site via Youtube/Current events. I have a few movies to show that relate but I was wondering if you guys had some suggestions?...
This week I finished my project, I just need to edit the titles and confirm it with my supervisor. That makes me feel less stressed and now I can focus on other things. I have been looking forward to Battle of the Sexperts and the event "Can I kiss you?" just because that will give me more insight on the community.
I will be looking at some of the message boards to see what the students are asking and if I can add some other videos/information to help with their questions.
I am having a great time with my internship because I have been learning quite a bit. Yay
Have a good Thursday-avoid that cold weather...

Week 4ish?PLANNED PARENTHOOD-Prostitution-Human Sex Trafficking... :/
I have been very excited to let you in on my life and here is one event that I will share, I was invited for an interview to my top graduate school that I applied for and am thrilled to say this has truly made my whole year. I am nervous but at the same time very excited. It consists of a 4 hour interview process that is small group, large group and individual interview. I have to have my A game up just because I want to go to this university. I am ready to leave my hometown and meet some new people.
There are some issues that I have been looking into lately and some of them consist of Planned Parenthood, Human Sex Trafficking and Prostitution. I have been looking at these issues because they all have something in common. The obvious issue is sex, but they also are illegal acts of sex along with many forced acts of sexual activity.
Planned Parenthood could be losing funds due to treating prostitutes-prostitution is usually forced on these women and this can lead to human sex trafficking/is human sex trafficking. It is a revolving door so who do we blame or where does this problem root from?
We can't put full blame on Planned Parenthood. How about the deviant acts that are being presented from the outsiders? What about the pimps? They are laying low and forcing these young girls to do this-In my last post you saw the video-some of the girls couldn't even speak English (they were brought in from another country) so WHY WHY WHY aren't the sellers/buyers getting in trouble?
I am frustrated because I feel like an important organization could potentially get shut down. Yes, Planned Parenthood should have acted on the situation but where do you draw the line? Are they merely there to help these girls with STD checks or should they enforce the law and act on such areas.
I feel that the "prostitutes" always get the blame but if you further investigate the issue they are usually forced into the business.
I AM JUST UPSET. PLEASE SIGN THE LETTER TO WASHINGTON. LETS KEEP HAVING SAFER SEX AND LEAVE THIS ORGANIZATION OPEN~!

TGIF!
I can't believe that Feb is almost over! WOWZA! I have been trying to accomplish the uploading of the videos online and it is getting there! I am happy to see that it is finally coming together. This upcoming week I will be adding some interesting articles/videos to some of the course material and hopefully getting to talk to the school counselors...(I've been putting it off) just so I can get this other task completed first!
I am loving life and this truly has been one of the best experiences in my college career. Just wanted to give a shout-out to my supervisor! Thanks for all that you do!

Tuesday
Wow this past weekend was very eventful and I felt a bit overwhelmed. Just a bit. Although it was busy I learned so much. I feel like I have become more grounded with my social life and honestly I think it is a process that everyone goes through when they are growing up. It scares me..(seriously).
I went to the LGBT leadership conference and that was very eye opening and it helped me understand a lot of different areas that dealt with human sexuality. I met a few people and it was nice to see my college community come together to talk about the issues that people face everyday.
Who watched the Grammys? Eminem/Rihanna/Dre/Skylar Grey performance? AWWmazing : ).
Sign up for Battle of the Sexperts by FEB 18. The competition is March 1. It i a competition for sexual awareness and you win some pretty sweet prizes. Get a team together and you will be able to get a t-shirt when you sign up! 10 dollars/person!
Uhm what else? Any new songs/ideas out there? I have been brainstorming and will add more later!

Planned Parenthood. Risky behavior leads to questioning of funds and morals.
It took me back because the organization, Live Action has been investigating Planned Parenthood for the past five years and got a negative response out of Planned Parenthood. They had a sex trafficker go into the clinic and ask questions about getting young girls (13) tested and how they could go about getting abortions. The response from Planned Parenthood was that they could get away with it and that it would be their little secret. (Shocking).
The employees have not been fired yet, although they deny that the videos were made up and were not true. Many lawmakers and citizens are up in arms because this is jeopardizing young girls and allowing sex crimes to become even more lucrative.
Some Taxpayers and the government are trying to shut down Planned Parenthood because of these allegations. They believe that it doesn't benefit society and that if illegal acts are being allowed in the clinics then it shouldn't be a benefit.
I am torn. Honestly I am for Planned Parenthood-It is a clinic to help young, underprivileged individuals to get checkups etc. I think that the media is going above and beyond the exploitation.
I DO NOT AGREE with sex trafficking and how Planned Parenthood dealt with that situation. Those individuals are not a good representation of Planned Parenthood and do deserve punishment. I am appalled that they didn't try and tell authorities about a guy who wanted to know that kind of information. It was taken way to lightly.
Now please government- don’t take away the funding-WE NEED EDUCATION/SAFER SEX/BIRTH CONTROL/DOCTORSSSS for people that cannot afford it. OK RANT TIME.
As for sex trafficking that is another subject that would take 5 more posts. I have a lot of information on that lucrative business but for now lets question how this is being dealt with.
<3 Happy Humpday : )

Abstinence Only Sex Education-No is where I stand until I have a wedding band..
I was doing some research and came across an article that didn't surprise me. The states are looking to boot abstinence only education and make it more effective.
The problems that the states are facing are the funds of abstinent only education and the mixing of taxes. They are receiving more money from the government to teach abstinent only education which makes for a lot of the debate.
It also has to do with parents, religion and what part of the country that they are in. Parents are still under the impression that their teenage son/daughter are not having sex so why teach them safer sex?...Religion plays a lot into it because most churches do not agree with sex before marriage (which is rare these days) and the areas that don't have the advantage of having a sex education program are at a higher risk.
Scaring teenagers out of sex or even telling them that it is bad will not only make them wonder but they will want to engage in sexual intercourse. They will still go and have sex, even if they are taught that abstinence is better.
So take a preventative approach and show them their options. Comprehensive Education gives the options of where educators stand. They want to teach teenagers that if they are having sex, to use protection, to prevent pregnancy or the spread of STI's.
We have evolved and honestly our society is based on sex. It is everywhere so let’s be safe about it.
Have a great Tuesday!

Organization/LGBT Leadership Conference
I have gotten a notebook to compile everything that I find for my records. It makes me feel more like a teacher.
I have been searching for different things to attend on campus or around that will give me more knowledge on human sexuality in general.
Which leads me to the next topic- LGBT- Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans-gender group/organization is going to be hosting a leadership conference at my college . I will be attending and look forward to the insights that everyone has to offer. Recently in the media bullying and suicide have become prominent in teenage/college aged homosexuals. I find it to be disturbing and difficult to grasp. I would love to have everyone attend this conference. It will make you more aware of others and bring different individuals together for educational benefits. If you want more information message me and I will give you details.

Snow Day=Cabin Fever
I have had some negative and mostly positive feedback. First, I want to clarify my blog and why I am here. I am here to keep my thoughts on paper(Internet), Keep record of the research that I do, this is an assignment(that I love) from my supervisor and the most important of all of these, is to improve your education. I am looking for feedback to make the class more effective.
I am not trying to be Dr.Phil or Oprah, trying to get attention or even doing it as a trend. I am here to HELP you guys. I like giving my opinion on occasion but it's a discussion topic that should and needs to be addressed.
Enough of that, I am not mad just wanted to let everyone know that's what the purpose of this is.
Now I am trying to upload classroom videos today and the connection is slow. Who wants to help me fix it? I emailed ITAC today so I hope they get back to me quick!
Look out for the next topic... it's on it's way!

Happy Thursday
I have been working hard on trying to think of different ideas to make human sexuality more relative to the world around us. I have a meeting today with my boss and I have prepared a few things to discuss with him.
Online Blog.-How effective will it be with getting ideas? So far I have only four subscribers but I keep putting blurbs on Facebook and Twitter to get more recognition and viewers.
Campus involvement posters would be great so the university could be able to recognize the facts about STD’s and where they can take action/learn more about the risks.
GYT campaign- How effective could this program be? I would like to work with some type of organization to get more involved with the campus.
Entrepreneur contest- I found out that the university is having a contest on ideas created by the students. There is a category for social and service. I won't be explaining my idea (Because it’s a contest) but it has to do with sexual health and well being. I will be attending the info meeting to see if I have what it takes...sounds pretty exciting.
I did contact an FSHS teacher and she is allowing me to sit in on her human sexuality class. The local school emailed me back and wants to collaborate something and get me to talk to more teachers...
I also have been looking up articles to put into the online classroom that are relevant to the course material.
So far it is going well; I would like to get more people involved so readers help me by promoting this blog! I need more ideas and would appreciate if you had any questions/ideas to help : )

MTV skins/GYT campaign
Once again I am on the network MTV watching the new show, Skins. I have heard many negative reviews of this show and was curious to what it had to offer. I went to mtv.com and when I clicked on the show it asked for my age. That raised some flags because Jersey Shore/Teen Mom does not ask for the age. In my mind this show is probably a bit risky.
I was correct. It promotes teenage sexuality, drug usage and uses language that shouldn’t be viewed by young adults. Yes I know that teenagers participate in sex but some of the script included "Cherry popping"(I hate that term btw)-"Having to get laid before you are 17"(Like it’s a requirement)-"Katy is great in the sack"(talk about no respect)...the list goes on.
I question the morals of children and if by watching this show does it make them want to participate in this type of activity? I think that entertainment is great but I also think that if these shows are going to be available, teenagers need to be more educated on the risks of STDs and pregnancy. This leads to my next point, GYT campaign that MTV promotes.
GYT stands for Get yourself Tested and is a program that promotes safer sex. It is a great way to get the public aware of the dangers of STD's and protecting yourself. Although this is a great organization I find it to be ironic that it is on the MTV website/network.
Skins clearly is about having sex, drinking, and doing drugs. The first episode kicked off and it gave me enough viewing information to know what this show is about.
I'm not going to lie and say I won't watch it but I believe that MTV targets viewers at a young age and this show is disgusting.
My advice to you is after watching this show you might want to go get yourself tested. (Pun intended)

Week 2
I hope the weekend went great for all of you! I went to visit a friend and take the GRE on my weekend. I found that it was like standardized tests that you take in highschool or the ACT except ten times more difficult and super boring.
I am in a weird mood because I have so much on my plate right now. I haven't been the normal Jessi just because I have a lot of things to think about due to grad school/future in general.
Enough of that.LOL.
I have a plan of attack for this internship and everytime I think about it I get sooooooo happy. It makes me think of how future life could be and its positive for sure.
My plans for this week include some lesson planning-contacting some professors to get their insight on college teaching and to start creating my professional notebook.
We met for our seminar yesterday and it was nice to see all of internship faces. I like being able to talk about the accomplishments that we will be seeing in the near future.
I will be posting a new topic in a few hours...
I have a tech meeting at 10:30 to understand computers better...(I need help in that area)

Welcome!
Hello readers,
I am a new blogger and I am very excited to kick this off. I am a student in Family Studies Human Services with a Minor in Women’s Studies. I am on my last and final semester of undergrad and I am happy to say that 5 years is starting to pay off…(HA!). I am looking into a master’s program for the upcoming year and have been considering a few options. I am looking at Marriage and Family Therapy or Family Life Education. It all depends on what school I will be going to and what area of study will suit me the most. I have aspirations of one day becoming a college professor. I want to be a part of the Family Studies program and to teach students such as myself, Human Sexuality. Human sexuality has a lot of topics to cover and it’s not only about sex it starts with parenting all the way to relationships and the in betweens.
While I am finishing my last semester I will also get to be an intern with the Family Studies program. I will be teaching/learning about sex.(My favorite topic). I will be rebuilding the online classroom and adding different aspects to the course. While that is my main project I will get to follow other teachers in the FSHS program to better my knowledge on how to teach in a college setting. I will help with the local high schools and middle schools to help assist them with the Human Sexuality class.
Readers,
I have created this blog to help out the students of my university and to get input from you. I want to know what students/parents/etc. are thinking about this topic. I want insight from past experiences and suggestions on how to make the classroom a better setting. I want to make this fun and make you more knowledgeable on the subject.
I will post different topics as the time goes, and then I would LOVE if you could help me out. Keep reading I will try and update everyday! Thanks!
Happy Thursday! <3>
